We’re a carbon neutral organisation!

We’re committed to doing our bit to help combat climate change and reduce our carbon emissions and are stoked to now be a carbon neutral organisation!

Our carbon neutral project is a staff-led initiative that kicked off in December 2020, with feedback from staff from all departments of the business emphasising the important of addressing and reducing Moon Dog’s impact on the environment.

Working with experts we have developed and implemented a carbon neutral plan, made with the future in mind!

Projects (complete as of January 2022):

Started the carbon reduction program to audit and introduce initiatives to reduce our key emissions areas during the manufacturing of our beverages.

Offset our projected emissions by investing in renewal energy projects in the Philippines.

Working with suppliers to reduce carbon footprint of raw ingredients and packaging materials.

Moved to a completely carbon neutral electricity supply.

Solar system (317 solar panels & a 100kW solar inverter) has generated 87,000 kWh of energy in the last 12 months, equivalent to 83 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided.

Looking ahead to July 2022:

Official certification from Climate Active acknowledging our commitment to reduce emissions.

Implementation of key carbon reduction initiatives.

Going above and beyond in taking into consideration all the packaging material, third party transport and raw materials in our own carbon footprint.

Our plan beyond that:

Maintaining carbon reduction action plan and ongoing investments in reducing our carbon footprint.

Yearly certification and auditing process to ensure transparent approach to maintaining carbon neutral certification through Climate Active.
